Fermentation was completed in a mixture of new and old French oak barriques and hogsheads before maturing for 21 months.  The resulting wine displays rich mulberry and dark cherry aromas overlaying sweet spices.

The soft palate is layered with bright fruit and vanillin oak derived characters over its earthy regional trait.
