Some call this the a COVID ale whisky.  That sad time when breweries could not get their ales out into the market and the beer was fast approaching it’s end point.  What to do with hundreds if not thousands of litres of fine craft ale?  Distill it.
And after the 46 percenter we then we get to the cask strength.  And this is a cracker and quite surprisingly much more subtler thanks than its 46% sibling. The oak handling is soft and balanced, the hops are there but  are very supple.
